I am etc. to inform you that a

despatch has been received from the Governor

of Hong Kong in which he reports the results

of a conference between the Colonial Sacre-

tary and the Trustees of the German Missions'

properties in Hong Kong in March of this year

2.

Mr. Amery is informed that the follow-

ing conclusions were reached at this conference:

(a) That the Berlin Mission property should be sold and the proceeds handed over to it for the work in the Kwangtung Province as

desired by the Society. This has just been

accomplished after a careful valuation of

the property. The net sum paid to the
